KAIYETHUM DOORATHU
Fazil who has introduced a galaxy of exceptionally talented actors is all set to make a launchpad for his son Shanu ( Fahad Fazil ) The seasoned actor Mammootty will make a cameo appearance in this film for showering his blessing on the new entrant. Nikitha who made her foray in to modeling will make a debut with this film. The entire shooting of the film will be completed before August as it is slated to be released during the onam festive season. This film stars Rajan P Dev, Janardanan, K P A C Lalita , Revathi, Kochin Haneefa, Sudheesh, Yadhukrishnsn etc… Lyrics are by S.Rameshsn Nair and Music by Ouseppachan.

NANDANAM
Best known for his action flicks, Renjith, the hotshot scenarist has decided to opt out of the trodden track this time with the love story Nandanam. Sukumarans son Prithviraj and Navya Nair will be the leading pair of the movie which also stars Revathi, Jagathi Innocent, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Siddique, Sreeraman, Kalabhavan Mani, Jagannadhavarma and Mala Aravindan. This film has cinematography by Azhakappan, Lyrics by Gireesh Puthaencheri and music by Raveendran.

 

 

THANDAVAM
 Dickle cinema's " Thandavam " went on the floors recently with a shooting stint at Technopark club in Thiruvananthapuram. Mohanlal plays the role of the protagonist Kashinadhan, a multi faceted artist and the owner of the Heritage Resort . After the phenomenal success of the Lal starrer Narasimham, Shaji Kailas wields the megaphone. S.Suresh Babu who made his debut as ascript writer with Dadasaheb has penned the story. Screenplay and dialogues. Jemini fame Kiran is supposed to provide oomph for this star studded film. The movie stars Nedumudi Venu, Jagadish, Saikumar, Lalu Alex, Kanakalatha and Janardhanan. Produced by Johny Sagarika, this film has cinematography by Sanjeev Shankar, editing by L.Bhoominadhan. Thandavam is slated to be released during thr onam festival season.

After the widely acclaimed film Meghamalhar, Kamal has again chosen a different love story set against the backdrop of the Jewish culture in Kochi. The plot is unique and it is bound to revive the middle off the road cinema in Malayalam. Dileep is playing the lead role. Sachi's love affair with Jennifer ( Meera Jasmin ) a jewish girl lands him in dilemma as the noted singer Arya Devi and her daughter Pooja ( Navya Nair ) who are closely associated with the life of his father come to their home land. This film attempts to explore the life and culture of jewish community in Mattanchery and adjoining areas.
     
AYIRATHIL ORUVAN

Sibi Malayil's latest offering Ayirathil Oruvan is expected to be a domestic drama of deep sentiments drawn with poignant sensitivity. Kalabhavan Mani plays the lead role.
