Career
beginning in JANAYUGOM, way back in 1958. Originator of box
cartoons in Malayalam - KITTUMMAN along with the most popular
'Chandu'. Though joined Shanker's Weekly in 1968 returned to
Janayugam after a brief stint of six years, to edit BALAYUGAM,
the Children's Magazine. Left Janayugam and started 'Asadhu'
on his own in 1973.
Later shifted to Kochi, from where two magazines
- Cut - Cut and Tuk - Tuk were launched. This versatile genius
has penned three books- Aniyara, Pradhama Drishti and Post Mortem
in addition to two screenplays.
Joined MALAYALA MANORAMA in 1985 as staff cartoonist and hence
blooming of career. CARTOONIST OF THE YEAR Award Winner of Thiruvananthapuram
Press Club in 1990 & 1992.
Founder Chairman of Kerala Cartoon Academy and at present Vice-President
of the Kerala Lalithakala Academy.
Wife Mercy. Three sons.
