Started drawing cartoons while
studying in college. First cartoon published in AMITTU Magazine
(1957). Drawn cartoons and picture stories in almost all leading
Malayalam periodicals. Vasuvettan, Chinnan Chundeli, Chellan
Muya etc. are popular characters. Author of the first comic
book in Malayalam - ' CID Nazeer' and 20 literary books in Malayalam.
Director of Malayalam film SANKHUMUDRA. Presently professor
in Malayalam, S.N. College, Kollam. Also member of University
Board of Studies and Malayalam Faculty.
Wife S. Remadevi. One daughter, Smitha, who is
also a cartoonist.
