Mastered the basics of animation in 1992 under
Shri.RAM MOHAN , the chieftain of Indian animation.Later he
worked as assistant animator for the india's first hybrid animation
feature film "O'Faby". Later when Zee TV opened its
animation house in Mumbai he joined there.And from 1999 to 2001
he worked for Toonz Animation India ,Technopark,Trivandrum.
At present is is working with NeST Animation as a key animator
in Cochin. Mr Prathapan ultised his skills in producing Indias
first animated political cartoon "Akamporul" for NeST
Animation. Married:two kids wife :srilatha children: Akil Prathap
and Athul Prathap
