Secured first prize in cartoon competitions during college days, 1971. While at Thruvananthapuram, the hustle and bustle of the capital city inspired to draw cartoons. With the encouragement of late Kambisseri Karunakaran, Editor of Janayugam Publications, drew a picture story maniyanum Karukkanum which appeared in BALAYUGAM (1973) and serialized for five year. While first cartoons was published in Kunkumam Onam Special 1973. Cartoons/ Chitharakathas appeared in almost all Malayalam commercial publications. Drawn political cartoons mainly for Janayugam Daily. Cartoons on banking topics being published regularly in banking journals UCO SPARKS, LABOUR LIFE, VIGIL and SARATHI. Also writing humorous articles under the pseudonym Dr. CHOMAN. Collection of articles published - HASYAM GAVESHANEEYAM and SUKHINO BHAVANTHU. Had been seceratary of Kerala cartoon academy during 1992 - 96. Employed in nationalised bank as officer. Wife B. S Geetha. One son and a daughter. At present Treasurer of the Academy and Hon. Editor of Academy's magazine Cartoon Pathrika.
