Personal Details
Born
in Brahmakulam, near Guruvayur, Kerala in 1940. Diploma in design
from Government School of arts and Crafts, Madras passed in
First Rank. Diploma in Painting - Advanced course passed in
First Class. Worked as Designer with Madras Design Demonstration
Centre - a Government of Madras unit for Research and improvement
of Handicrafts. Art instructor at Kalapeetom, Cochin - 1970
-73. Started " Chitrakoodam " first private Art Gallery in Kerala
1973 - 77 At present Vice - Chairman , Kerala Lalithakala Academy.
